Neil’s Experience
Neil Kendall has extensive experience in all aspects of financial planning. His work as a financial planner is complemented by his experience as a licensee and business owner. Neil’s hands-on approach is complemented by his roles at an industry level as an FPA Director and the FPA Chair.

Unique Industry Experiences

Neil was pivotal in the FPA’s evolution into a professional association and he worked with the government and the profession in raising professional standards for members.

During his time as Chair of the FPSB council, Neil was involved in lifting the standards of financial planning and in the management of the Certified Financial Planner® designation globally. This involved review of international financial planning standards and setting of standards for practitioners to meet for the Certified Financial Planner® designation.

Neil was involved in the design and industry rollout of a new code of ethics and professional standards for Australian financial advisers.

Neil has acted as a judge for Financial Planner of the Year awards in Australia.
Due to his work with the FPSB and his recognised expertise Neil has also participated in the judging of Financial Planner of the Year awards in Malaysia and South Africa.
